He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. Lester Gaddy and Everlener Howard Gaddy; his grandson Elijah M. Gaddy; and his siblings, Armon Gaddy, William Gaddy, Lanston Gaddy, Benjamin Gaddy, Willie Gaddy, Wilbert Gaddy, Lester Gaddy, Clayton Gaddy and Mamie Cash.
He is survived by: his children, Bernard Gaddy (Brenda) of Washington, DC, Anthony Gaddy (Cindy) of Pageland, SC, Allen Gaddy (Jennifer) of Thomasville, NC, Melinda Gaddy of Gaithersburg, MD and Angela Easton (Mark) of Waldorf, Maryland; and his sisters, Evelyn Lockman of Wilmington, Del, Julia Wall (BJ) of Lexington, NC, Shirley Bittle Cheraw (Bobby) and Elizabeth Gaddy of Wilmington. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
