It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byron James Duncan of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Mercer, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 31, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Richard Oliver Duncan and Evelyn Spangler Duncan; and his niece Beth Ann Gassner. He is survived by : his children, Jennifer Duncan of Lexington, Rachel Duncan of Lexington and Matthew Duncan of Lexington; his sister Barbara Duncan Gassner (Rudy) of Hermitage, PA; his grandchildren, Jonathan Lee Duncan, Hannah Lynn Duncan, Savannah Leigh Duncan, Matthew Dillon Duncan and Carter M. Duncan; and his great grandchildren, Jonathan Lee Duncan, Jr., Levi Harwood and Adalyn Harwood.
