Carolyn Elizabeth King Gant Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 7, 2025, at the age of 83, Carolyn Elizabeth King Gant in Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John King and Edna Langley King; her husband Billy Ray Gant; and her brothers, JC King, Billy King and Charles King.
She is survived by: her sons, Dean Gant (Amy) of Lexington and Dale Gant (Joan) of Denver, NC; her sister Linda Ann Evers (Ed); and her grandchildren, Devin Gant, Ridge Gant, Dawson Gant, Kyle Shina, Cole Shina and Cody Shina. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Cumby Family Funeral Service - Archdale (206 Trindale Rd, Archdale, NC 27263). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations in Carolyn's memory be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
