He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Delton McGirt and Frances Ellen Reid McGirt; his wife Mary "Libby" Chandler; his children, Chad Chandler (Brenna) of Lexington, Alisha Maxwell (Nicholas) of Lexington and Jenny Sykes of Thomasville; his siblings, Larry Chandler (Beverly), Ken Chandler (Lynette), Ricky Chandler and Tammy McGirt; and his grandchildren, Jared Chandler, Katelyn Chandler, Nicky Maxwell, Kirsten Sykes, Bryan Sykes Jr., Bradley Maxwell, Karlee Sykes and Maddox Gryder.
