He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Joseph Ward Sr. and Marth Elizabeth Wagner Ward; his sister Mary Jean Ward Joslin; and his friend Leo Wagner. He is survived by: his pet Tonto; his wife Shelia Dawn Leonard Ward; his daughters, Monika Priddy (Patrick) of Pilot Mountain and Rhonda Culler; his siblings, Tim Ward (Rebecca) of Winston Salem, Diane Ward Wessell of Clemmons and Betsy Ward Roland of Rolesville; his grandsons, Jaxon and Noah; and his brother-in-law Reggie Leonard.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pilgrim Reformed Church (797 Pilgrim Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27295).
