It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Edward Harmon (Lexington, North Carolina), who passed away on March 24, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jethro Ransome Harmon and Martha Vienna Coffey Harmon; his wife Edna Lorena Tolbert Harmon; and his brother Olin Harmon. He is survived by: his daughter Martha Byrd (Doug) of Yadkinville; his grandchildren, Traci Zachary (Richie), Ricky Willard (Katie), Monica Fulton (Jake) and Douglas Byrd (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Austin Zachary (Brittani), Brody Willard, Jaxon Byrd, Otto Willard, Barrett Byrd and Truett Byrd; his stepgrandson Shane Byrd; and his siblings, Paul Harmon of Lenoir and Edna Tolbert of Lenoir.
