She was predeceased by : her mother Minnie Payne; her grandparents, Walter and Mattie Payne; her husband Stanley Reid, Jr. (Junie); her sister Sarah Crooks (Reid); and her uncles, Frank Payne (Frances) and Odell Payne (Madie).

She is survived by : her children, Stanley W. Reid, III and Regina C. Reid Martin; and her grandchildren, Solomon, Aaron and Jordan.

Viewing was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Roberts Funeral Service-Lex (701 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Union Baptist Church (110 Lincoln Ave, Lexington, NC 27292). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at the South Lexington City Cemetery.
