He was predeceased by: his parents, Governor Dan K. Moore and Jeanelle Coulter; and his sister Edith Hamilton. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Frances Brock; his son Daniel Brock (Melanie); and his sibling's children, Blanton Hamilton of Charlotte and Jeanelle (Rik Lovett).
