He was predeceased by: his parents, Hovis Edgar Spurrier and Doris Hendrix Spurrier; his stepdaughter Jennifer Caudle; and his brother Doug Spurrier. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Bergman Spurrier; his children, Danny G. Spurrier (Annette), Scott Spurrier (Wendy), Bill Freeman (Tracie), Shawn Freeman (Robbi) and Cassie Spurrier Blackwelder (Justin); his sister Joni Messer; his sister-in-law Melva Kaye; and his close friend Pepper. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; his precious.
Danny was given a second chance at life thanks to organ donation from Timmy in 2005. He took great care of his lungs and would encourage all of us to quit smoking and sign up for organ donation as it impacted him so greatly.
