He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bishop and Ruby Hall Bishop; and his brothers, Ronnie Bishop and Philip "Kilroy" Bishop. He is survived by: his son Daniel Bishop (Danielle); his grandchildren, Bella, Patrick, Samuel, Silas, Nathaniel, Lily, Grayson and Adeline; his sister Tina Bishop Phillips (Marty Phillips); his niece Mollie; his nephew Matthew; and his girlfriend Linda Berrier. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews, and countless friends.

The inurnment was held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Lexington City Cemetery.
