It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Manuel Shelton of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Pulaski, Virginia, who passed away on March 18, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, James Ray Shelton and Lattie Bell Simpkins Shelton; and his siblings, Arleta DeHart, James Shelton and Johnny Shelton.

He is survived by : his wife Pamela Williams Shelton; his children, Brian Shelton of Nashville, TN, Crystal Smith of Hillsville, VA and James Shelton of Rockwell; his brother Paul Shelton of Locust; and his grandchildren, Haley Perry, Ashleigh Spangler, Matthew Shelton and Alan Shelton.
