It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Roger Hutchens of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on July 9, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Roger "Bud" Hutchens and Agnes Hutchens; his wife Tammy Godwin Hutchens; and his siblings, Larry Hutchens, Kenneth "Red" Hutchens, Terry "Bo" Hutchens, Violet Black, Linda Harris, Rita Laws and Debbie Harrison.
He is survived by: his children, David Hutchens (Idaina) of Charlotte and Lisa Hutchens Curry (Roy) of Lexington; his brother Barry Hutchens (Angie) of Lexington; and his grandsons, Nolan, Dylan, Lucas, Tyson and Logan. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
