He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Gertrude Mull Asbury; and his granddaughter Emily Workman. He is survived by: his father Claude Estel Asbury (Sonia Owens); his wife Suzanne Mae Jolly Asbury; his children, Jesse Asbury (Lindsey) and Laura Workman (Travis); his siblings, Claude Asbury Jr. and Claudia Asbury Greenwood (Brian); his granddaughter Ann Workman; his siblings' children, Robin Smith (Carl), Shane Asbury, Pauline Barley, Kara Knowles, Deja Greenwood and Brody Greenwood (Callie); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Summer Tate, Michael Nance, Lena, Douglas Barley and Luke Greenwood; and his mother-in-law Jewel Jolly.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Mitchell's Grove Methodist Church (3511 M. L. K. Jr Dr, High Point, NC 27260). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Mitchell's Grove Methodist Church.
