He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Bulla and Gertrude Young Bulla Gordon; his wife Ruby Christine Wampler Bulla; his brother Troy Lee Bulla; and his grandson Russ Craver.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lynn Beck of Lexington and Amy Halverson (C. B. Bryant) of Greensboro; his grandchildren, Lydia Craver of Huntersville, Sam Halverson (Christy) of Charlotte and Emily Elliott of Davidson; and his great grandchild Cole Elliott.
