With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Dean Hanchock of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hanchock and Thelma Evelyn Belcher Hanchock; his daughter Donna Yvonne Porter; and his siblings, Robert, Lois, T. J., Carol and Barbara.

He is survived by: his caregiver Pansy Hanchock; his son John Dean Hanchock (Cheryl) of New Hampshire; his son-in-law David Lee; and his pet Benny.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Davidson County, 202 Hospice Way, Lexington, NC 27292.
