He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Louzanie "Sue" Baldwin Huneycutt and Lawrence Victor Huneycutt; his wife Robin Alexander Huneycutt; his children, John David Huneycutt (Julie) of Lexington, Leigh Huneycutt Zupan (Jeff) of Charleston, SC and Janna Huneycutt Walker (John) of Midway; his granddaughters, Rachel Huneycutt, Lauren Huneycutt, Hollis Zupan, Ashton Walker and Emory Walker; his siblings, Robert "Lynn" Huneycutt (Debbie) of Greensboro and Brenda Adams (Butch) of Burlington; and his pet Phoebe.
A memorial service was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the Calvary Church (1410 Lexington Ave, Thomasville, NC 27360).
