She was predeceased by: her parents, James Winston and Katherine Hargrave Winston; her husband Dr. Harold Mitchell; and her siblings, Shirley Williams, Annie Mae Crook and Bobby G. Winston.
She is survived by: her sons, Glenn Mitchell (Brenda) and Darrin Mitchell (Tekeisha); her grandchildren, Wayne Robinson, Jantzen Mitchell, William Robinson (Anjelica), Jason Mitchell (Latoria), Jared Mitchell (Alison), Jordan Mitchell, Ian Mitchell and Makayla Mitchell; her great grandchildren, Jayden Robinson, Emerie Mitchell, Laila Mitchell, Cali Rose Robinson, Theodore Mitchell and Lennox Mitchell; her siblings, Clinton Winston (Peggy), Brenda S. Moore (George) and Betty Griffin (late Curtis); her siblings-in-law, Sherol Bass, Cynthia Robbins, Gloria Parker, Ira Mitchell (Rhonda) and Thomas Williams; and her aunts, Aquilla Sampson and Josephine Hargrave. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
