Fields (Lexington, North Carolina), born in Baltimore, Maryland, who passed away on January 7, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elizabeth Pearson Fields and Aree Caple; his wife Carol Smith Fields; his grandparents, Urshell and Elizabeth Pearson; his adoptive father Charles Fields,; his brother Charles Fields, III; and his grandson Ashton J. Love.
He is survived by: his children, Darrick Horton (Kim), Monica Fields, Eddie Fields, Jr. and Raylette Rivers (Harold); his grandchildren, Paisley Marinke, Elijah Horton, Ny'Lasia Brown, Ma'Jayla Bowles, Xavier Butler, Kelvin Love, Jr., Kristina Love, Eddie Fields, III and Aiden Dupree; his siblings, Scarlette Fields-Johnson (Charles), Wenifer Ann Diggs (Larry), Ramona Pearson Hunter and Urshell "Charlie" Pearson; his aunts, Rev. Minnie D. Pearson and Mary P. Perkins; his uncle Edward L. Pearson, Sr. (Mollucye); his nieces, Amanda Hunter and Tracey Joseph (Seraphin); and his friend Faye Fields. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
