She was predeceased by: her husband James Stowe Koontz; her children, Donald Koontz and Sheila Smith; and her parents, William Davis Walser and Clara Hobbs.

She is survived by: her son Alen Koontz (Kim); her grandchildren, Adam Koontz (Jennifer), Jeremy Koontz (Ashley), Jaime Burgess (Wesley), Kara Beck, Jordon Koontz (Katie) and Brandon Beck (Lauren); and her great grandchildren, Baylei, Clayton, Karsyn, Khloei, Daulton, Liam, Anistyn, Harper and Porter.
