She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Bolen Young and Ethel Justice Young; her husband George Chadwell "Chad" Simerson; and her sons, Ricky Lane Simerson and Randy Joe Simerson.
She is survived by: her son Gary Simerson (Angie) of Linwood; her grandchildren, Wayne Simerson, Shaylyn Floyd, Erica Nicole Smith, Matthew Simerson and Adam Simerson; and her daughter-in-law Ann Simerson. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
