She was predeceased by: her father Edward Jay "Buddy" Meachum; and her sister Kathryn Meachum. She is survived by: her mother Dixie Ellen Andrew Meachum of Lexington; her brother Jay Meachum (Susan); her nephews, Joey Meachum (Tabitha) and Brandon Meachum (Kayla); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Zoey, Kassandra Meachum, Jacob and Kai Meachum; and her close friend Stacy Rae Jones.

Memorials may be made in her memory to The River Oaks Church, Mission Team or Alzheimer's Association.
