He is survived by: his son Tayron Williams (Lynette); his stepdaughter Tamika Thrasher (Ruben); his grandchildren, Tayari Williams and Tayron Williams II; his sisters, Sheila Thompson and Elaine Williams; his siblings' children, Shanita Thompson, Shannon Logan and Ron Winchester, Jr.; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Jamiya, Bria Logan, Sa'id Thompson and Amauri Thompson-Brown; and his aunt Cordelia Hairston.
