He is survived by: his children, Ernest Laxton Jr. "Bim" (Judy) of Stacy, D'etta Ivey (Rodney) of Lexington and Donna Lynch (Johnnie) of Lexington; his daughter-in-law Genorah Laxton of Tyro; his brothers, Jack Laxton (Ruby) of Albemarle and Jerry Laxton (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Phillip Laxton (Tiffany), Joey Laxton, William Laxton, Justin Ivey (Hannah), Zackery Ivey, Russell Lynch (Samm), Chris Lynch (Brandy) and Drew Lynch (Taylor).
