It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Esther Eunice Sharpe Michael (Lexington, North Carolina), who passed away on October 23, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Alexander Sharpe and Mary Jane Penninger Sharpe; and her husband Henry Thomas "Tommy" Michael. She is survived by: her children, Tommy Lee Michael (Sue), David Rogers Michael (Wilma) and June Sharpe Michael Pope (Patrick); her grandchildren, Angel, David, Mary Thomas, Kristine, Sara and Theo; and her great grandchildren, Andrew, Cameron, Charlotte, Emma and Elliot. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
