She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Haney and Pearl Tolar; her husband James Edward Helms; her siblings, John William Haney, Clarence Wiley Davis and Ann Furr; her uncle Gadi; and her aunt Beulah Bullard.

She is survived by: her children, David Helms (Paula), James E Helms, Jr., Joe Randell Helms and Anita G Miller (Mike); her grandchildren, Amisha Vondohlen (Billy), Amy Jaquez, Chasity Helms (Brandi), Glenn Smith (Pamela), Alex Helms, Devon Helms and Travis Helms; her sister-in-law Ann Eads (Richard); Clarence Edward Davis (Carol). She is also survived by Eleven great- grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
