He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Jerrel and Judy James. He is survived by: his parents, Lisa Tarlton Ramsey (Bryan) of Norwood and Chad Everett James; his brother Chase Tarlton; his grandparents, Larry Tarlton Sr. (Donna) and Judy Griffin; his uncle Larry Tarlton Jr.; and his stepgrandparents, Tom and Ann Ramsey. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
