We announce the death of Frances Irene Brinson Myers (Lexington, North Carolina), who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 93. Frances will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Fred and Jesse Byerly Brinson; her husband Jacob Steve Myers; her children, Steven Darrell Myers and Judy Frances Myers Bates; her great grandchild Parker Spillman; her brother Harold Lee Brinson; and her son-in-law Tony Bates.
She is survived by: her son Greg Myers (Charlotte) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Terry Bates, Cody Bates, Morgan Myers Martin (Jefferey), Joseph Watkins (Tiffany) and Felicia Spillman (John); her great grandchildren, Danica Bates, Lily Bates, Briella Bates, Gavin Watkins and Eleanor Spillman; and her brother Carlton Brinson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Reeds Baptist Church (180 Reeds Baptist Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27295). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 at the Reeds Baptist Church Cemetery (180 Reeds Baptist Church Rd, Lexington, NC 27295).
