He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hankins and Sarah Brooks Hankins; his significant other Ada Mae Pennington Hankins; his children, Betty Jean Robicheau and Roy Allen Hankins; his siblings, Junior Hankins (Mary), Charlie Hankins (Ruby), Bill Hankins (Anne), Otis Hankins, Jimmy Hankins (Phyllis), Della Phillips (Tom), Edna Patton (Willie), Shirley Bishop (James), Pearl Fox (Vernon) and Clara Wood (James); and his son-in-law Tim Love.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jackie Vestal (Ralph) and Clara Love (Eddie Phillips); his grandchildren, Julie Aker (Jim), Amanda Crouch (Nathan), Angie Haynes, Jennifer Craver (Zack), Daniel Love, Jeremy Haynes (Casey) and Christopher Hankins (Rhonda); his great grandchildren, Makayla Crouch, Gabriel Crouch, Logan Love, Asher Haynes, Noah Haynes, Graylan Craver, Evan Craver, Claire Craver, Reuben Hankins and Cillian Hankins; his brother Stanley Hankins (Phyllis); and his sister-in-law Linda Hankins (Eddie Robicheau). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
