She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Miller Westmoreland and Helen Ferguson Westmoreland; her daughter Patricia Shaw; her brothers, Larry and Tony Westmoreland; and her daughter-in-law Donna Prevette Townsend.

She is survived by: her husband Estil Edwards; her children, Mike Townsend (Anita) of Lexington and Cheryl Edwards (Gaye York) of Lexington; her siblings, George Westmoreland (Gail) and Kaye Frye; her brothers-in-law, Junior Lee Edwards (Cricket) and Kenneth Edwards; and her grandchildren, DeAnna Kinder (Ben), Holly Lesley (Jonathan), Beth Egelnick (Stephen) and Daniel Bishop (Danielle). She is also survived by fourteen great grandchildren.
