We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2022, at the age of 83, Gene Watkins of Lexington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Watkins and Rosa Haltom Watkins; his wife Alice Kepley Watkins; his son Tony Watkins; his grandson Griffin Owens; and his brother Jerry Watkins.
He is survived by: his children, Allison Watkins Owens (Rondall) and Bobby Watkins (Rachel); his grandchildren, Samantha Watkins, Olivia Owens, Hayden Owens, Cody Bryant and Tony Tussey; his brothers, Don Watkins, Claude Watkins (Carol) and Paul Watkins (Peggy Smith); and his friend Danny Smith.
