He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank and Nottie Grace Allen Barney; his wife Betty Leonard Barney; his great grandchild Uriah Stewart; and his siblings, Lucille Lampley, Melvin Barney, Lillian Boone, Marie Beck and Elsie Myers.
He is survived by: his children, Rita Greene (Johnny) and Dean Barney (Donna); his grandchildren, Amy Stwart (Todd), Andrew Barney (Valerie) and Anna York (Matt); his great grandchildren, Jett Stewart, Grayson Stewart, Colton Barney, Elise Barney, Lilly York and Clara York; and his great great grandchild Johanna Stewart.
