He is survived by: his wife Estella Bean Michael; his daughters, Cindy Michael Shoaf (Dennis) of Lexington and Julie Michael Farris of Matthews; his grandchildren, Joshua Shoaf, Beka Shoaf Brown, Emilie Farris and Tyler Farris; his great grandchildren, Jordan Ruth Brown and Joshua Seth Shoaf, Jr.; and his sister Barbara Houchins (Arthur) of Lexington.
