West of Lexington; his grandchildren, Alisha Nighswonger (Matthew), Brandon Fero (Kayla), Collin Fero, Jeffery King (Cara) and Jeremy King; his great grandchildren, Lillian, Jameson and Hudson; and his siblings, Judy Taylor, Rev. David King and Patricia Mullins. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Greater Vision Freewill Baptist Church (208 Arrington Dr, Lexington, NC 27295). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
