It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Elizabeth Ketner of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on December 4, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Bane and Ella Walser Swicegood; her husband John Allen Ketner; her daughter Luella Jean Ketner; and her siblings, Arlie Swicegood (Margaret), Paul Swicegood (Alma), Vilas Swicegood (Ruth & Shirley), IV Swicegood (Cleo), Eula Weaver (Jesse), Louise Lanning (Harold), Dot Koonts (Weldon), Naomi Leonard (Grady) and Joretta Davis.

She is survived by: her daughter Llamel Craig; her granddaughters, Caroline Craig (Zach) and Taryn Craig (Maddox); her son-in-law Jerry Mullis; and her brother-in-law Bob Davis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
