With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Gloria Waddle (Lexington, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 1, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marion Mofield and Fonnie Dick Mofield; and her siblings, Doris Bailey, Jack Mofield, Arlene Vanhook, Tommy Mofield and Patty Salyer.
She is survived by: her husband Robert J. Waddle; her children, Rick Waddle (Kelly) and Dianne Yokeley (Ronnie); her grandsons, Trevor (Kristin) and Ty Yokeley; her great grandchildren, Corbin and Bryson Yokeley; and her sisters, ToyLee Hall and Lydia Dye.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations and memorials be made in honor of Gloria to Wellcare Hospice of Advance, located on 146 Donach Way, Advance, NC 27006, in appreciation of the compassionate care and professionalism shown to her.
