He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas Hancock and Dora Hilda Hartley Hancock; his wife Brenda Floyd Hancock; his brothers, Forest Crook, Jr. (Patti) of Lexington and Ray Crook (Sally) of Lexington; and his sister-in-law Robin Floyd of Lexington.
