He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Groover and Marie Groover. He is survived by: his wife Linda Groover; his children, Chad Groover, Shelly Caires, Stacy Hill and Stephanie Snow; and his sister Diane Gilbert of Cumming. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hayworth-Miller Kinderton Chapel (108 E Kinderton Way, Advance, NC 27006). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
