Jackie was predeceased by: parents, Jay Tayse and Mildred Campbell Tayse. Jackie is survived by: daughters, Tabitha James (William) of Statesville and Angie Woody (David) of Mt. Holly; siblings, Jay "Peanut" Tayes (Becky), Darlene Tayse and Ann Wood (Len); and grandchildren, Blake Lynch, Brileeh King, Jenavah King, Samantha Woody, Caleb James and Colton James.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Martin Luther King Jr. Park (911 Lakewood Dr, Statesville, NC 28677).
