She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Ray Luffman and Wanda Marie Minton Luffman. She is survived by: her husband John Mays; her children, Tamara Greenwood (Nicholas), Kacay Blanchard and William James Mays; her sisters, Debbie Moore (Greg) and Carla Luffman; and her sibling-in-law Bell. She is also survived by five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Davidson Funeral Home (301 N Main St, Lexington, NC 27292). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 17th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
