He was predeceased by: his parents, Allen Sanford Thompson and Susie Kate Wicker Thompson; and his brothers, William "Bill" and Bobby Thompson. He is survived by: his daughter Lori "Cricket" Berrier (Kevin) of Midway; his siblings, David Thompson (Kathy) of Lexington, Clyde Thompson of Lexington and Betty; his grandson Chase Berrier (Rebecca Woliver); his brothers, Claude Bates and Garry Cantrell; and his cousin Warren Brown (Buck).
