He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Willis Medlin and Vera Walker Medlin; his wife Martha Mills Medlin; his brother Charles Medlin; and his sisters-in-law, Pat Medlin and Catherine Medlin.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Medlin (Debbie) and Terri Sosebee (Mark) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Seth Sosebee (Courtney), Tiffany Medlin Williams (A. J. Causey) and Adam Medlin (Emily Wall); his great grandchildren, Lilah Latta Sosebee and Dylan Latta Sosebee; his brother Joel Medlin; and his sister-in-law Pat Fine (Sharon Kindley). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Second Reformed United Church of Christ, 521 E. Center Street (Suite E), Lexington, NC 27292.
