He is survived by: his sisters, Mary "Bootsie" Rector and Brinnie Rector Sheffield of Lexington, NC; his uncle Edward Baucom of Palm Coast; his siblings' children, Roy Rector of Winston-Salem, NC, Michael Barton (Anita) of High Point, NC, Jose Davis (Celena) of Boiling Springs, SC, Jermaine Cardwell of Warm Springs, VA, Brian Cardwell of Staunton, VA and Tina Wyatt (Thomas) of Salisbury, NC; Elaine Rector of Winston-Salem, NC. He is also survived by great-nephews and great-nieces, cousins, other family and friends.
