He was predeceased by: his father Earley Ridge; his wife Betty Mae Younts; his brother Leon Ridge (Amy); and his brothers-in-law, Delmar Younts and Sherrill Saunders.
He is survived by: his children, Keith Ridge (Sherry) and Susan Cecil (Ricky) of Thomasville, NC; his siblings-in-law, Terry, Nancy Younts, Alice Younts, Paul, Linda Younts, Jean Saunders and Sandy Younts; and his pet Lexi. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Liberty Baptist Church, 225 Liberty Avenue, Thomasville, NC 27360.
