It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jane Elmore (Lexington, North Carolina), who passed away on November 15, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Goforth and Mary Schenck Goforth of Kings Mountain, NC.; her husband Charles Douglas Elmore, Sr.; her son Mark Goforth Elmore; her sister Linda Stroupe; and her grandson Stephen Chauncey.
She is survived by: her children, Charles Elmore (Kathy), Gini Chauncey and Molly Green (Michael); her daughter-in-law Mimi Elmore of Lexington; her grandchildren, Kenneth Elmore (Ryne), Kristin Elmore (Melissa), Blake Elmore, Hannah Green and Sarah Green; her great grandchildren, Luke Douglas Elmore, Asher Brady Elmore and Isaac Henry Elmore; and her siblings, Helen Hauser of Raleigh, Ed and Paul Goforth of Kings Mountain.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice or to Shiloh UMC's Family Life Center at 943 N. NC Hwy 150, Lexington, NC 27295.
