Jane Yow Lanning Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jane Yow Lanning (Lexington, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 4, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Thomas Yow and Gertrude Barnes Yow; and her brother Tom Yow. She is survived by: her husband Joe Lanning; her daughter Debbie Jane Shook of Lexington; her grandchildren, Taylor Shook (Brooke) and Corbin Shook (Kelsey); and her great grandchildren, Trevor, Lily, Eleanor Jane, Eva and Trace.
A graveside service was held on Monday, September 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel (1307 W Old Hwy 64, Lexington, NC 27295).
