She is survived by: her husband Ira Meggs Leonard, III of Lexington, NC; her brothers, Doug Burnette of Bryson City, NC and Roger Burnette of Bryson City, NC; her children, Dale Hedden (Kim), Jeff Hedden (Sandy) and Jenni Hedden (Mike) of Alabama; her stepchildren, Wendy Leonard Orrell (Brian) of Lexington, NC and Matthew Leonard of Lexington, NC; her grandchildren, Katelyn Brown (John) of Alabama, Parker Hedden (Colton) of Alabama, Jordan Dean (Heath) of Alabama, Jenna Walker of Alabama, Heather Helton (Ray) of Alabama, Paige Wheat (Cody) of Alabama, Makayla Elders (Jacob) of Alabama and Weston Callahan (Sherea) of Alabama; her stepgrandchildren, Chad Orrell (Sara) of Lexington, NC, Caleb Orrell (Reese) of Lexington, NC, Caydence-Raine Orrell of Lexington, NC, Hannah Leonard of Lexington, NC and Tristan Leonard of Lexington, NC; and her great grandchildren, Eliana Dean of Alabama, Beckham Helton of Alabama, Graham Helton of Alabama, Everly Wheat of Alabama, Brynlee Elders of Alabama, Sloane Elders of Alabama, Beaux Callahan of Alabama and Brock Callahan of Alabama. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
