She is survived by: her children, Darlene Lanier Causey (Jerry) of Lexington and Phillip Lanier, Jr. (Carolyn) of Thomasville; her sisters, Doris Pullum, Mary Hughes, Jean Everhart (Bobby) and Lynn Shaw (Keith); and her brother-in-law Tony Lanier. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
