It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janie Galko of Lexington, North Carolina, who passed away on June 4, 2024, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bruce Edward Galko; her father Kenneth Struss; her in-laws, Walt and Alice Galko; and her grandparents, Russell, Martha Ann Struss, Harold and Janie Marie Fenton.
She is survived by: her mother Winona Struss (Kenneth) of LaPorte, IN; her daughter Abbey Hedrick (Jason); her grandchildren, Mason of Lexington, NC and Gracelynn Hedrick of Lexington, NC; her siblings, Tia Miscik (Rick) of Trail Creek, IN, Kurt Struss (Michele) of Buchanan, MI, Susan Helwig (Doug) of Aurora, IL and Eric Struss (Jill) of LaPorte, IN; her siblings' children, Brittany Struss, Rebekah Struss, Morgan, Mia Struss, Steven Price (Pauline), Collin Struss (Sheyenne), Hudson and Gabriel Struss (Paige); and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Madison Smith (Nathan), Arlo, Malorie Price, Ameliya Price, Kosta, Riley Karagianakis, Miloh Sorenson, Barrie, Gayle and Janice Justice.
