He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Baxter Bonnie Black and Dulcie Hill Black; his wife Sue Owens Black; and his sons, Jerry Scott Black (Sharee), David Baxter Black (Diane Smithson) and Samuel Keith Black (Amanda). He was also cherished by his family, friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be directed to the Shriner's Children's Hospital, a cause close to Jerry's heart.
