We are sad to announce that on November 3, 2024, at the age of 84, Jerry Hodges of Lexington, North Carolina, born in Rocky Mount, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Lee Hodges and Margaret Caroline Hodges; his wife Merle Leonard Hodges; and his son-in-law Jim Earnhardt. He is survived by: his daughter Leigh Hodges Earnhardt of Rockwell; his brothers, Mike Hodges (Chris) of Lexington and Steve Hodges (Vikki) of Lexington; his nephews, Chad Hodges of Lexington and Bryan Hodges (Rachele) of Lexington; his sister-in-law Rhonwen Leonard Newton of Columbia, S. C.; and his siblings' children, Blair Jones (Gordon) of Clinton, N. Y., Allison Satchell of Easton and Dr. Willoughby Brockenbrough Newton III (Rhett) of Winston-Salem.
